Why do we gather personal data?
On the one hand, in Clínica Diagonal we process the data provided by you in order to carry out the medical service required, which involves the processing of sensitive data concerning health, as well as to carry out all the tests and diagnoses as may be necessary.
On the other hand, we will process your data for administrative purposes of our own clinic, so that you can arrange an appointment with us and we can manage the payment of the services rendered –either directly with you or through your insurance company (if you have one)–.
Furthermore, we will process your personal data for statistical purposes and with the aim of preventing fraud, in compliance with the legal obligations in force.
Finally, in Clínica Diagonal we process the information provided by you for commercial purposes related to our products and services, and the products and services of the companies which are part of the FIATC Group. The data requested by us shall be the minimum necessary in order for us to be able to achieve the aforementioned aims.
The sole aim of the profile which we will create shall be to carry out the medical treatment requested by you. No automated decisions shall be taken with regard to the profile created.

The processing of your data is necessary in order to carry out the aims of preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, provision of healthcare services, and for the management of healthcare systems and services.
The data requested by us are necessary in order to identify you, to know your personal characteristics, your medical history, and to be able to perform an appropriate diagnosis.
If you are the insured from an insurance institution, we will need to know the identification data of your insurance policy.
Furthemore, if you are not an insured from any insurance institution, we will need to know your banking data in order to collect the payment for the services contracted.
Furthermore, in Clínica Diagonal we will process the data provided by you in order to contact you and to offer you some commercial advice. This processing is subject to Clínica Diagonal’s legitimate interest. If you are not a client of Clínica Diagonal, we will request your express consent. This consent may be withdrawn at any time.
